Update we have received from CEC on 10th December
Katesmill Walkway Bridge
"It is with great delight we can inform you this route is now open. A minor snagging assessment is still to be completed but this will not prevent use in the interim.
I am sure you will agree the re-opening of this, and the other routes within Colinton and Criaglockhart Dells, will be of significant benefit to the local communities."
