Information received from From Caroline Paterson | Natural Heritage Officer | City of Edinburgh Council
"As many of you will be aware the footbridge over the Water of Leith, within Colinton and Craiglockhart Dells, at Katesmill has been closed since substantial damage was caused by Storm Éowyn. I am pleased to confirm a temporary solution has been enacted to allow the bridge to be open, pending repairs.
Repair works have been commissioned and we are hopeful these will be completed by the 8th of August however, we are waiting for the confirmation of the timeframe for the delivery of materials. I will share further information with you as it becomes available."
