Traffic signals renewal & road resurfacing works - Lanark Road/Craiglockhart Avenue

"I am writing to inform you that The City of Edinburgh Council will be carrying out road resurfacing works in your area beginning 27 January 2025. The details are as follows:
EXTENT: Lanark Road between number 22 and the Union Canal bridge; Craiglockhart Avenue for a distance of 45 metres up from the junction with Lanark Road
SCOPE OF WORK: Road and footway resurfacing, renewal of traffic signals, renewal of road drainage
START DATE: Monday 27 January 2025 for six weeks
WORKING TIMES:
Phase 1:Traffic signals renewal and footway work: between 0830 and 1630 hours Monday to Friday
Phase 2: Resurfacing work: between 1900 and 0600 hours (OVERNIGHT) Monday to Friday
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT: 3-way temporary traffic signals operational at all times; road closure of Craiglockhart Avenue when required for resurfacing work with diversion routes in place
BUS SERVICES: Service bus diversions will be in operation when Craiglockhart Avenue is closed; contact Lothian Buses for details
A letter outlining details of the works will be distributed prior to commencement to all residents and businesses affected by the works."
